Nilai 14th January 2023 – USIM’s Endowment and Zakat Center has launched USIM’s Prihatin Fund (Flood Aid) to help flood victims affected by the flood disaster. The floods that have hit the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perak and other states in November 2022 have resulted in the destruction of residents’ property and financial difficulties.
In order to ease the burden of the poor and those affected by the flood and sympathize with the plight of the people in the respective states, USIM’s Legal Department has contributed to USIM’s Prihatin (Flood Relief) Fund. The donation was handed over to USIM’s Waqf and Zakat Center representative on 13th January 2023.
Hopefully this donation can ease the burden to some extent and it can give them motivation to continue their challenging lives.
